- Supervising the implementation of construction and restoration operations (including the building and its decorations) and preparing periodical performance reports.
- Supervision of design and implementation projects (including interior and exterior spaces, environmental graphics, lighting, museum equipment, site furniture, water and gas pipes and installations, etc.)
- Documenting and preparing the technical identification certificate of the historical building of the complex (Including preparation of up-to-date maps of buildings and grounds, 3D photogrammetric models and laser scanning, etc.)
- Identifying the damages to buildings and preparation of proposed plans for future construction and restoration operations and their prioritization based on plans and periodic monitoring with the help of strategic council and technical committee
- Protection of Golestan Palace area according to national and international standards and participation in preparing new national standards and regulations of limits and area, as well as regular visits to monitor new constructions in terms of compliance with national and international standards.
- Periodic monitoring of the Golestan Palace buildings in order to control their structural changes and movements due to vibration and to check the possible wear and tear of the parts of the buildings that are visible in the form of damages, as well as blockages and disturbances in the rain and snow drainage channels and Water transmission and distribution pipes in the complex.
- Cooperation with researchers and students in the field of studies, documentaries and preparation of restoration plans for the buildings of the Golestan Palace complex.
- Carrying out activities related to the maintenance of the historical monuments of the complex on a continuous basis.

Respected students and researchers can refer to the technical office during office hours to obtain the map of the buildings and related information on the restoration and architecture with a letter of introduction from the university or other relevant institutions. In addition, architecture and building restoration students can spend their internship in this office with a letter of introduction from the university if there is an active workshop in the complex.
