The Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts emphasized the continuation of the cooperation of this ministry with non-governmental organizations by issuing an announcement.
According to the public relations of the Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex report and the Aria Heritage news site, the announcement of the Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts states: "The development of international cooperation in the field of cultural heritage is a priority of actions of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts in the 13th government.
Iran has very good experiences in cooperation with international institutions in the field of cultural heritage and museum management. These measures are followed more seriously in the new period of activity of the Deputy of Cultural Heritage with institutions such as ICOM and ICOMOS.
Organizations such as ICOM (International Council of Museums) and ICOMOS (International Council of Monuments and Historical Sites) have a non-governmental structure, and membership fees in these assemblies in Iran are paid by individuals who are members of these councils.
Therefore, the recent government bill (Amendment of the Law on the Membership of the Islamic Republic of Iran in International Organizations and Assemblies, approved on April15,1986) has taken care of this issue and has made an amendment to the previous laws.
Naturally, the cooperation of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts with all international and national non-governmental organizations in the field of cultural heritage and museum management is ongoing with more effort.
